Set against the gorgeous backdrop of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, Blowing Rock, North Carolina is home to plenty of area attractions and top travel destinations.

As one of the only villages that is directly off the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock has a long tradition of entertaining visitors, and over the years has hosted many prominent citizens and modern day celebrities. Today, the Village is known for its hundreds of small shops, galleries, boutiques, antique and fine clothing stores that line the streets, in storybook village fashion. The Village is a year-round resort with something unique happening each season, with the great outdoors providing visitors with amazing vistas to discover during their stay. Hike to waterfalls on the Glen Burney trail, just beyond the Village. Fish in nearby streams. Ride horses at Moses Cone Park. Rock climb, mountain bike, or hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Ski at Appalachian Ski Mountain, which is only a few minutes from the Village. It's all possible in the Blowing Rock and Boone, NC Area.
